Malta Temple was chartered August 23rd, 1945 under the leadership of Noble J. E, Johnson, Illustrious Potentate. Malta Temple #143 Inc. Prince Hall Shrinedom embraces all the basic fundamentals of the Masonic Order and serves as a charitable non-profit organization and dispenses charity in the community and for its members. Malta Temple No. 143 Inc., Prince Hall Shriners is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization. Some of the charitable endeavors and programs for Malta Temple No. 143, Inc. Prince Hall Shriners include support to the Educational/Charity Program, which covers (School Supplies), Youth Programs, Breakfast with Santa, Shriners as Mentors Program (SAM), National Diabetes Initiative (NDI),  Breast Cancer Initiative, Bikes for Books Program at Lake Gem Elementary School. We award $1,000.00 Past Potentate Albert Hamilton Educational Scholarship annually to deserving college/university bound students, to include vocational/trade school to help offset any unexpected out of pocket expenses. We prepare and deliver food baskets during our Annual Thanksgiving & Christmas Food Basket Program for the less fortunate; adopt a family Christmas Program & annual Clothes Giveaway Program and much more! 

 

A.E.A.O.N.M.S. History


Noble John G. Jones established our organization on June 3, 1893. Its incorporation took place on December 12, 1900. The Shrine Organization takes great pride in its Auxiliary, which is comprised of wives, sisters, mothers and daughters of the membership – officially styled, the Imperial Court Daughters of Isis (DOI). 

The Imperial Potentate, and the Daughters by the Imperial Commandress, heads the Shrine. The men of the organization, Nobles, wear the red Fez; and the women, Daughters of Isis, wear the white Fez. Most importantly, both are community servants. 


The Imperial Council of the Ancient Egyptian Arabic Order Nobles Mystic Shrine of North and South America and Its Jurisdictions, Incorporated Prince Hall Shriners is a benevolent, charitable, educational and fraternal organization of Prince Hall Shriners, dedicated to charitable, civic, economic and educational development programs. 

Our worldwide fraternal group has a membership of approximately 25,000 + in some 250+ Shrine Temples and over 200+ Courts (its women’s auxiliary – The Daughters of Isis), throughout the Continental United States, Canada, Germany, Italy, England, Spain, Japan, Korea, Guam, Thailand, Panama and the Bahamas, and St. Thomas, Virgin Island & St. John United States Virgin
 Islands . 

We foster a multitude of national charitable programs: The Prince Hall Shriners Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which is established to provide financial resources to help support the following initiatives: Health Care: AEAONMS, through its National Diabetes Initiative (NDI), and the American Diabetes Association (ADA); Mentorship: Minority – male youth who have at-risk or high-risk educational deficiencies will have a forum to improve these deficiencies through the Prince Hall Shriners’ Shriners As Mentors (SAM) program; and Education: Low-income, Minority students who achieve academic success in high school will have an opportunity to receive financial assistance to attend college or specialized trade schools through the Prince Hall Shriners’ Student Aid (SA) program.
